Reverse Camera Installation in Nottingham, Derby & Leicester
Why Install a Reverse Camera?
Even with mirrors and parking sensors, it can be difficult to see everything immediately behind a vehicle.
A reversing camera provides a clear view of the area behind you when manoeuvring.
This can be particularly useful when:
- Parking in tight spaces
- Reversing larger vehicles
- Manoeuvring around low obstacles
- Reversing on driveways
- Working around busy sites
- Operating vans with limited rear visibility
A camera doesn't replace careful observation, but it can provide an extremely useful additional view.
Factory-Style Reverse Camera Integration
On compatible vehicles, we may be able to integrate a reversing camera into the vehicle's existing infotainment display.
When reverse gear is selected, the camera image can automatically appear on the factory screen.
This creates a clean installation without the need to add an unnecessary separate monitor to the dashboard.
Compatibility varies by vehicle, so contact us with your registration number and we'll check the available options.
Reverse Cameras with Apple CarPlay & Multimedia Systems
If you're upgrading your vehicle with a new Apple CarPlay or multimedia head unit, it's an ideal opportunity to add a
reversing camera.
Many of the Alpine, Kenwood and other multimedia systems we install provide reverse camera inputs.
This allows us to upgrade your entertainment system and reversing visibility at the same time.
Van Reverse Cameras
Reversing cameras are particularly useful on vans.
Large commercial vehicles can have significant areas behind them that are difficult to see from the driver's seat.
We can install systems suitable for a wide
range of commercial vehicles, from smaller vans through to larger fleet vehicles.
Depending on the application, options can include:
- Rear reversing cameras
- Dedicated dashboard monitors
- Multi-camera systems
- Additional side cameras
- Continuous rear-view camera systems

Professional Installation
A reverse camera installation should look like it belongs on the vehicle.
Our technicians carefully route and conceal wiring and position the camera to provide an appropriate view while maintaining a clean appearance.
Where suitable integration equipment is available, we'll also look at retaining and using the vehicle's existing display.
