From a Driveway to Almost 25 Years in the Vehicle Industry
Exec Spec didn't start in a corporate office or a huge purpose-built workshop.
It started with Two Brothers, a Driveway and a Passion For Cars.
Back in 2001, Anupe and Ash started out Tinting Vehicle Windows, working hands-on and building the business one customer and one car at a time.
There was no big company behind us.
Just hard work, a determination to do a good job and an ambition to build something of our own.
Almost 25 years later, that small beginning has grown into the Exec Spec you see today.
Nearly 25 Years of Growth
A lot has changed since those early days.
Cars have changed. Technology has changed. And Exec Spec has continually evolved with it.
What began with Vehicle Window Tinting
expanded into Car Audio, Vehicle Electronics, Security, Tracking, Immobilisers, Dash Cameras and increasingly sophisticated Vehicle Upgrades.
As our commercial customer base grew, so did another side of the business.
Van Security, Van Racking and Commercial Vehicle Equipment became a major part of what we do, eventually developing into Complete Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Fit-Outs.
Today, Exec Spec works on everything from Family Cars and Performance Vehicles to Prestige Cars, Work Vans and Commercial Fleets.
But we're still the same business at heart.
Built, Not Bought
We're proud of how Exec Spec has grown because it has happened through years of doing hard work.
We've worked on thousands of vehicles, built relationships with customers and suppliers and continually invested in new products, technology and installation skills.
The business you see today wasn't created overnight.
It's the result of almost a quarter of a century in the vehicle industry.
And Anupe and Ash are still very much part of the business.

Our technicians work with modern vehicle electronics every day, and we continually adapt as vehicles and technology evolve.

Racks4Vans focuses on
van racking, van security and commercial vehicle equipment.
Exec Spec remains at the heart of the group, bringing decades of vehicle installation experience together at our Midlands base.

Exec Spec is based in Stanton-by-Dale, between Nottingham and Derby.
From here, we serve customers throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicester, Birmingham and the wider Midlands.

2001 → 2027
In 2027, Exec Spec celebrates 25 years in business.
From tinting cars on a driveway to becoming a specialist vehicle installation centre working with cars, vans and commercial
fleets, it's been quite a journey.
And we're nowhere near finished.
